How to hard reset HTC Desire C

 If your phone is not working normally or running slowly than normal you can do a hard reset..It should be noted that you will loose all the personal data stored on your phone and also all  the installed applications on doing a hard reset.So make sure to backup your files and datas before doing hard reset.Here are the two ways in which you can  format your Htc Desire C:

• Hard reset using phone buttons
• Hard reset via settings

Formatting using hard rest

To hard reset your Htc Desire C first switch off the phone or if the screen is not responding,remove the battery and reinsert it.Now perform the following steps:

1. With the phone turned off press and hold the volume down button and then press the power button.
2. Now you will be presented with a screen showing four options- fastboot,recovery,clear storage and simlock
3. Press volume down button to select clear storage and now press the power button
4. When asked to confirm press volume up button

Formatting using settings

You can also hard reset your Htc Desire c via settings.It can be done using the following steps:

1. Go to MENU>SETTINGS
2. Now tap the privacy >Factory data reset
3. Tap the reset phone and tap erase everything.
